How Can You Be a Volunteer?

Vets Day needs your support in many ways.
There are three methods of service you can offer our Vets at Union Grove Vets Home.
One is to volunteer your services by being there to support us in our endeavors in actually
helping out in distributing food, services, and rendering support at the Vets Day
Picnic on August 26th, 2009. There will be hundreds of volunteers
just like you, and they will certainly assist you along the way, showing you what to do.
If you have questions, please contact us by writing or emailing us.

Secondly, you can donate funding.  This money goes directly to the vets.
All of our volunteers do so at their own expense, and so does Vets Day and a coordinating body.
We volunteer our complete services, so every single dime of funding is directly applied to the
benefit of our Vets and the Vets Home.  Contact us for more information on this issue.

Thirdly, we need goods.  We ask for food donations for the picnic event, clothing
for the Vets, hats, T-shirts, sweat clothing, and gift donations.  One recent supporter
gave our Vets two new wheel chairs for this year's Vets Day event.
This is an example as to how you can help.  If you are not sure, call us or write us,
as we are in contact with the Vets Homes and have a good idea as to their needs.

If you wish, you can pledge your support in advance so we know who is going to be there,
how we can best assist you, and enable us to use your help in the best way possible
during the coordination process.  So, please offer what ever support you can, and be generous.
Your support is not for us, it is for the Vets.  They are our priority.

First and foremost, we at Vets Day want to thank you for your support.
Please, pass the word to as many interested people as you can.
We want this to grow into a nation wide effort, and this goal is underway right now.
Contact your nearest Vets Day representative near you.  Better yet!!!
Create your own Vets Day organization, and make it happen.
If you want ideas, or need our assistance in getting you underway, call us or write to us.
We will be more than happy to assist you in what ever way we can, including offering you
assistance by connecting you to our pool of ongoing caring volunteers.

Follow our links to our forms pages to offer your pledge of support or to volunteer your assistance.

Thank you for being so generous and helpful.
