MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND - 2022
LOCAL 249 VETERANS COMMITTEE
PLACED WREATHS AT KOREA & VIETNAM MEMORIALS
AND AT KANSAS CITY 1ST BLACK VETERANS MEMORIAL

Saturday November 20, 2021 United Auto Workers Local 249 (MO) Veterans Committee with assistance from various other
Standing Committees help served the 150 Residents at St. Michael's Veteran Center Campus to a Traditional
Thanksgiving feast (3rd Annual)  This year we where able to serve inside, by making use of two buildings, so our veterans
did not need to venture outdoors. We did deliver some meals to their apartments as well. All in all it was again a success
and they where very grateful for the UAW’S presence on a day we dedicated to them.
I want to personally thank everyone that took time out of their weeken
to join the Veterans committee in this yearly endeavor.
